There has been a lot of hype about this comet, but … as often with comets, expectations are too high! I was very lucky to get a few photos between the clouds as it headed towards the horizon not very long after sunset.
The comet was really too faint to see easily visually, just a faint smudge at the edge of vision. With binoculars, it was clearly a comet; and with a 1 second exposure, f/1.8 with my portrait lens, it came up fine. This image is somewhat processed, mainly to make it a bit brighter.
