We had our usual February trip to Northumbria, but stayed near Alnwick rather than near Lindisfarne this year. We were quite lucky with the weather.
Alnwick still has lots of historical features. We’ll go back.
This presumably was the old town hall. We found a nice little cafe for coffee at the other end of the square.
Had to visit Ad Gefrin again, if only to buy the whisky and the gin!
The decoration in King Edwin’s hall is really good, and the video presentation is excellent. We watched it all the way through this time.
