I have recently been reorganising my computers. Microsoft is basically removing normal support from Windows 10 in September, so I have bitten the bullet early and already moved the number 2 computer off Windows 10 (it was dual boot with Linux) to purely Ubuntu Linux. The present main computer has been purely Windows 11, but I am in the process of moving to dual boot, this time Linux Mint which I have tried recently and like.
So it’s installed – the initial installation to a basically working system took about 5 minutes – and is being tidied now. I suspect it will become the main interface to the web world again as I am really fed up with the AI nonsense being foisted upon us by Microsoft at present.
