It was great to be back at Knockbrex with the water clearer than I have ever seen it before. There’s quite a bit of mud in the deeper water here, and after rough weather it really makes the water cloudy.
Knockbrex is handy, though the tide has to be just right, and very scenic. Quite popular too in warm weather! I forgot to record the air and water temperatures.
Just one other swimmer today, who was towing a float.
When it’s below half tide these rocks are completely out of the water.
