A glorious day today, I had time for a quick Edinburgh circuit by bike after we had been shopping. I took the photo of Porty beach after I had passed the crowds.
The tide was high, so there was a different view of Cramond island.
Having reached the coast I decided to reward myself with an ice cream 🙂
Very good it was too!
Portobello beach was mobbed, even though it’s not the school holidays; there were even people in the sea. At 21C I was very tempted but it was too crowded for skinny dipping and I didn’t want to cycle back in wet lycra!
