It’s been some years (definitely pre Covid) since I went swimming at Yellowcraigs with Anne. A warm day with lots of sunshine was finally forecast – pretty unusual this year – and since we could both make it we went for a swim. Rather nicer than the swimming pool.
Lovely clear weather with a view over to the Lomond Hills and Fidra with the lighthouse.

Beach base set up under an old parasol.
Off to the water!
Not cold, honestly – the water was 16C.
Signature splash photo!

Such a beautiful day.
Doggy walkers
As we were beginning to leave we noticed that the tide had come a fair way in. A great hour or so on the beach and in the water.
