This visit we managed to get to the Zeppelin museum in Friedrichshafen. I had been to the town a couple of times before for the Ham Radio exhibition, but never to the town centre. The museum was great!

Friedrichshafen is in a lovely setting on the Bodensee, with lots of ferry services.

It was a view that had been a little clearer the previous day, but some distant Alps can be seen!

The reconstruction of part of a Zeppelin from the 1930s shows just how big they were.

You can also see the interior construction (with gas bags removed).

Next stop the Ham Radio exhibition!

Good to be there fairly early.

The QSL wall. I didn’t have a card this time, I have given up using QSL cards.

Society and trade hall

Hall with flea market stalls. There were two halls, but not as full as on my previous visits, and I didn’t find some of the things I was looking for.

People come from all over to this event!
