Great to be out on the bike in good weather for a decent ride. A bit windy, but over the hill to Creetown and back to Gatehouse is one of my favourite trips, especially as there’s usually lemon drizzle cake at the Gem Rock Museum!
From the road up to the top (Gatehouse Station) you can see the old railway viaduct across the Fleet valley. The road to Creetown goes the other way, west and down to the Cree.
